On the 21 June 2025, a barbecue will be held on the lawns to celebrate the continued work of the Foundation, and the legacy of George Heriot. This will be the first time that a dedicated Foundationer event has been held and it is hoped that Foundationers from all year groups will consider putting this important event in thier diary.

This event will be for Foundationers, past and present. A wonderful opportunity for Foundationers to get to know each other across the generations, and share stories, memories and plans for the future. Foundationers share a pathway through Heriot's and this will be celebrated with the attendance of key Governors and current Foundationers.
