After a chat at the recent 'After Many Years Reunion,' Brian Elliott (1973) has kindly sought out a BBC recording on YouTube of the 1969 'Jeux Sans Frontières' held on the grounds of the school in 1969. The Europe wide television show was broadcast across Europe from 1965 - 1999. 

If you fast forward to approximately 30 minutes in you will spot the set up for the games below the Quad. (Link attached). Clowns, pedal powered 'horses', precision diggers, risky water games, roller skating relays, speed and agility, all the challenges of the day! Not sure exactly who signed off on the Health & Safety, but it looks like everyone completed the day with all limbs intact.
