Today, Wednesday 5th July 2023 saw King Charles III visit Edinburgh where he was presented with the keys to the city and the Scottish Crown Jewels at St Giles' Cathedral.

62 years ago, a different royal visit took place in Edinburgh.
Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, visited pupils and staff at George Heriot's School to mark the Tercentenary - 300 years since the school classes actually started.
Does anyone remember this visit by Prince Philip or any other royal visits to Heriots?
