While touring both locals and tourists around the School during our exclusive Easter tours, this 17th Century Bench in the Council Room caught many eyes. 

Our attention has been particularly drawn to the panel on the back of the bench. If you look closely there is a hunt charging through the fields. The detail is extraordinary, with horses, dogs, trees, grand houses and of course the family crest of George Heriot. 

The rumour is there is another matching bench out there somewhere, if any of you have any intel, please do let us know!
