From the Archives

As the school prepares for careers events throughout the coming term, and especially the very exciting Former Pupil 'Inspirational Speakers' event on the 5 and 6 March, we looked back to the archives as to how careers were advertised to the pupils in the 1960s. 

Do any of you recall these roles? Did, indeed, any of you successfully apply and go onto to a career with the 'Lothian & Peebles Police' as it was, or the 'National Commercial Bank'? We would love to read your memories of this, or for others, memories of how you heard about career opportunities when you attended Heriot's.
