Herioters in Australia |
On Saturday the 3rd of June, FP's across a wide age range assembled in Sydney to celebrate June Day. There were plenty new faces combining with regulars, with some of the FP group travelling as far away as Townsville in far north Queensland to get to the venue - a distance of 2088 kms, and others as close as Cremorne a distance of 0.5 kms.
House pride was on the line post lunch with a GHS quiz, kindly put together by the Development Office. Despite Lauriston having three times the number of representatives, it was Raeburn that came away victorious, winning a bottle of sparkling wine and the bragging rights.
The group committed to meeting up informally again, perhaps by year-end and, in addition, noting Saturday 1st June 2024 as the date to hold for June Day next year.
