I thought it might be fun to share a picture from earlier this year. I was invited to come into my son's nursery class, where I did a short session on what it was to be a lawyer, why rules were important, and how to solve arguments with words. I fully anticipated that the children would be bored out of their minds, but no - they were actually really into it all.

We ran a small criminal trial (not my area of expertise!) and the jury got the right answer. Thereafter they all had a turn of my wig. I'm told by other parents that not all the children quite understood what this was, but that's okay!

The kids had been very lucky to have doctors and marketing professionals in to see them, so I thought it was time to fly the flag for lawyers too...
