A huge and very grateful thank you to all Former Pupils who joined us on the evening of Wednesday 24th May in the stunning Library Room at One Bird Cage Walk, London. The sun was out and conversation and wine flowed freely, it was a wonderful event all round.  

As we enjoyed the delicious canapes and libations, we heard the latest school news from the Principal, Gareth Warren, followed by two very inspirational speeches from School Captains, Kuzamium and Tom, both eloquently regaling us with tales of their time at Heriot’s and the shared pathways of current and former pupils. Vice Captains Lucy and Matthew kept many of you entertained through the evening, impressing all with their conversation and hopes for the future.  

Director of External Relations, Miranda Henderson spoke of the important work needed to fund and grow the school’s available places for Foundation and Bursary Students. This can only be maintained through the generosity of Former Pupils and Donors who have and continue to support the Foundation400 appeal. It was fantastic to hear so many of you wanting to get on board and the inspiring ideas of how you will help raise a share of the ambitious target.

During the evening we spoke about how the Development Office will continue to grow, and how we can support Former Pupils. We would appreciate any feedback and suggestions, large or small. We will shortly send all attendees a brief questionnaire to aid in this improvement, we would appreciate your time in completing the survey.
