As part of the We are all George Heriot campaign to raise £98,640 to fund new six-year bursary places at Heriot’s, Run400 is a continuous 400-lap run around the school campus. Taking pace this Wednesday 5 June.
Organised by Jonny Muir, Assistant Principal Teacher of English and long-time runner, this ambitious, one-off event is likely to feature more than 1,000 members of the Heriot’s community, including pupils, staff, parents, former pupils and former staff.
Starting at 7am this Wednesday 5 Jun, around 1,000 members of the community are expected to take part in the 400-lap baton relay to raise funds for the We are all George Heriot campaign.
If you would like to take part in this momentous event, we invite all former pupils to participate between the hours of 4pm Wednesday 5 June to 8am Thursday 6 June. To register your place please click here.
The 800-metre lap starts and finishes in the playground, visits both lawns, and those who sign up to the event are encouraged to embrace the ‘Be Yourself’ value. We invite you to complete the laps however you wish to do so; walk, jog or skip your way round!
