Scottish Rugby are to award four former Heriot's Rugby stars retrospective International Caps. 

A B W Buchanan (1929, now deceased), Andrew Barcroft (1939, now deceased) and Kevin Rafferty (1978) will be awarded retrospective cap status for their partcipation in matches that, at the time, did not carry Test Cap status. 

Stewart McAslan, who played for Heriot's Rugby but did not attend Heriot's will also be honoured. 

They join the list of more than 50 others who are to be awarded retrospective Cap Status from Scottish Rugby. The announcement will see the players join the prestigious list of 1,140 others who have been capped by Scotland since 1871.
