The Development Team were delighted to welcome back Former Pupil Maddy Counsell (2021) earlier this week. 

Since leaving Heriot's just two and a half years ago, Maddy has been studying Mandarin at St Andrew's University and is shortly heading off for a semester abroad in Taiwan. Her love of languages began during her time at Lauriston Place and has continued throughout her life. 

Maddy very kindly shared her story as a Foundationer for our annual fundraising appeal this year and many of you will have read about her experience in September's Quadrangle.
