On Wednesday 1 May the Development Team were delighted to welcome back Alistair Reid (1983) along with his wife Sam, daughter Rebecca, and Rebecca's partner Nick to Lauriston Place.

Alistair is the third generation of Herioters in his family, followed swiftly by his children who attended briefly until 2005 when he and his family emigrated to Australia. Until the end of last year, Alistair was the Executive Vice President for Menzies looking after Oceania and S.E. Asia. He has recently started his own Aviation consultancy, which will hopefully give him more time to indulge in his hobbies.

Something he is enjoying, and one we are very grateful to him for, is being a prominent figure in the Heriot's in Australia Club in the absence of Graeme Christie. He is currently in contact with 60 Herioters in Australia and is holding an in-person June Day in Sydney. 

A big thank you to the whole family for a lovely visit. We wish them a wonderful further holiday in Europe.
