On Monday we were delighted to welcome Mr Niall Kirkwood (1970) back to the School as he visits Scotland from his adopted home of Cambridge, Massachusetts. 

Niall, who, amongst many other accolades, is Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Professor of Landscape Architecture and Technology at Harvard University joined Principal Gareth Warren for a fascinating conversation about his work globally in the field of technology, technology in landscape architecture and its relationship to design. Recently Niall's work has taken him from Thailand, the Sudan and more locally to the Northwest of Ireland. 

We also had the opportunity to hear fond memories of Niall's time as a proud Herioter. Thank you to Niall for taking the time from his busy schedule to visit Lauriston Place.
