Music to our ears

Angus Tully (1999)
Angus Tully (1999)

It was wonderful to welcome back Angus Tully (1999)  yesterday and hear his recollections of his school days and of meeting former Principal Robert Dickson informally before he was appointed to lead Heriot's.

Previously Director of Music at Edinburgh Academy, where the Academy's performance on Songs of Praise won them a School Choir of the Year accolade, Angus is now Director of Music at Fettes. He remembers with fondness the influence that Graeme Brownlee had in shaping his music teaching practice, and of visiting Heriot's for an Open Morning before he joined and loving the energy he picked up from those he met.

Thank you for you time Angus and we hope to see you again soon.
