There is still time to donate to the Foundation Annual Appeal before it closes on 31st January. 

Since the appeal launched in November 2023, it has raised over £18,000 which will help to fund the next generation of Foundationers. 

Since George Heriot’s bequest in 1624 to found a school for the bereaved children of Edinburgh, Heriot’s has relied upon the generosity of its community to continue his legacy.

The Foundation lies at the heart of Heriot’s. To date, Heriot’s has provided over 5,600 Foundation places to young people who otherwise would not be able to access a Heriot’s education.

With your help, we can ensure that Foundation pupils continue to receive the education they deserve.

When you reflect on your days walking through the gates of Lauriston Place, please consider that your support can ensure that the next generation can create these memories too.
