The Fibonacci team, current Senior Regional Champions for Scotland for F1 in Schools, comprises two pupils each form George Heriot's School and James Gillespie's High School in Edinburgh, working in collaboration.
The team has already won the regional finals for Scotland, came fifth in the UK National finals, and is now preparing for the Schools World Final in July, contested by over 40 countries and run alongside the F1 Grand Prix at Silverstone.
As a new team, Fibonacci does not have funding. The team is looking for vital support to help them realise their dream.
The team now has just £3,500 to find by 3 June in order to progress their engineering challenge. Thank you to the generous former pupils who have supported this campaign to date. Watch their thank you message here.
The young engineers would be immensely grateful for any further support to help them reach their goal in time for the entry deadline.
