This anthology, has been written in support of the people of Ukraine in their current conflict with Russia and has just been released by Pegasus Publishers.

All royalties from the sale of this work will be donated to the charity ‘Hope and Homes for Children’ (Ukraine). 

After leaving Heriot's in 1970, Jim went to Edinburgh University to study Ecological Science, and then Electrical Engineering.

After graduating, he took on the role 'Head of Forest Ecophysiology' in Uppsala, Sweden. Coming back to Aberdeen, Scotland he worked at The University of Aberdeen as researcher and teacher in the role 'Head of Plant & Soil Science' and finally as 'Director of Teaching Biological Sciences'. He then retired in 2014.
