The George Heriot's Drama Department showcased a specially-crafted play recalling the life and times of jeweller and philanthropist George Heriot.
For two nights only, a whole host of characters including young George, adult George, and George at the end of his life, Queen Anne of Denmark, King James VI/I, William Shakespeare, tradesmen and ne'er do wells of Auld Reekie and others along the way told the historic story of our Founder and the birth of his long legacy of Distributing Cheerfullie. Often funny, often moving.
All proceeds from these special evenings were donated to the We are all George Heriot campaign, supporting the generation of funds for new bursary places.
If you would like to support the Herioter Actors and Crew in their fundraising endeavours, please donate today. (Ref: Drama)
