Good luck to all the Heriot's Pipe Band Drummers taking part in The World Solo Drumming Championships this weekend in Glasgow.

The event takes place on Saturday 19 October at Glasgow Caledonian University.

Hear the sounds of the March, Strathspey and Reel, and Hornpipe and Jig played by the best pipe band drummers on the planet.

If you would like to support the current pupils who will be participating at this event, tickets can be purchased here until 12:00 on 19 October.

If you can't make these championships tomorrow but would like to support the Pipe Band, there will be a Burns Supper at the school on Friday 24 January 2025. As well as celebrating the life and poetry of Robert Burns, we will also be gathering to raise money for the school's Pipe Band to support performance events, fund new tartan and pipe band equipment.
